The module is the ideal solution for soft feed water.
To avoid scaling of the boiler, operation is only permitted with soft feed water. In the water quality guidelines, the total permissible hardness for different boiler types and operating modes is limited. To soften the water, the raw water is filtered and make-up water is generated in an ion exchange process. The hardness components (calcium and magnesium ions) are exchanged with sodium ions.
The fully automated versions save on control costs, prevent malfunctions, ensure continuous operation and a constant raw water hardness for increased capacity utilization.
- Constantly fresh water to prevent scaling of the boiler heating surfaces
- Good heat transfer, high efficiency and long boiler life
- High operational safety
- External hardness monitoring is not required for the quality-controlled version - e.g. for better capacity utilization and unattended operation, even with varying raw water hardness
All components of the softening station are completely assembled and arranged in a clear and functional way on a supporting construction. The WTM module is suitable for all boiler sizes
The WTM module consists of the water softening system and a separate salt tank. The module is completed by a drain water connection, a sampling valve, a pressure indicator, a control valve, a shut-off valve and a filter valve.
