For very high steam or heat requirements, boilers are
available in the output range of 18,000 to 55,000 kg/h.
The UNIVERSAL ZFR two-tube boiler is a large-volume boiler based on triple-path technology with two fire tubes and completely separate flue gas paths. You will find it wherever a high supply of steam and heat is required.
The two-tube furnace and flue tube boiler is, with its separate flue paths, also suitable for single-fired operation. The three-path principle with the flooded gas changeover chamber has been patented by Bosch. Our boilers can be easily supplemented with our economizer and superheater modules. The dimensions of the fire tubes, flue tubes, water chamber and steam chamber are thermodynamically optimized. Radiation and convection surfaces produce a special dynamic in combination with the possibility of operating on a fire tube. A heat transfer system ensures that the heat supplied by the fuel is quickly converted into steam without any strain on the boiler.

Our patent for the three-path system is the basis for
the lasting success of this series. The ability of the fireplaces to operate in
parallel or individually without restriction is not only achieve by the
stability of the gas side separation. In order to neutralize the thermal
stresses with one-fire operation, a special construction design is essential to
maintain long-term reliability. The furnace tubes are solidly welded and installed
in the front and rear bottoms. A stabilizing, water-through wall attached to
the rear bottom separates the flooded gas reversal chamber. The water
circulation and heat transport are effectively boosted by conductive profiles
at the boiler base and accelerate by sweeping gases between the fire tubes and
the flue tubes.
Thanks to the TÜV-approved single-burner operation,
fully automatic operation with one or two burners is possible. The use of
different fuels on each of the two burners is not a problem. The control range
is doubled and any low-load operation benefits from optimum burner efficiency.
If overheated steam is required rather than saturated steam, a overheated module can be use on the front reversing chamber. A bypass valve continuously regulates the temperature of the overheated steam over a wide operating range. The smoke tube bundles remain easily accessible through the front door.
